Paul Tangey is stuck on the floating prison that is the Diamond Princess in Japan along with his mother and sister.

According to the Department of Health - Novel coronavirus is a respiratory illness caused by a new virus. Symptoms range from a mild cough to pneumonia. Some people recover easily, others may get very sick very quickly. There is no treatment. There is evidence that it spreads from person to person, so good hygiene can prevent infection.

Currently the cruise liner Diamond Princess is stranded in Japan with 3700 on board. Of those 135 have been diagnosed with coronavirus with 11 Australian's among those affected by the illness.

Bendigo resident Paul Tangey, is one of the people trapped on the boat and joined PT on 3BA's Bigshow.
