So over in NZ, there's been a measles outbreak, and this has prompted one paramedic to send a message out to people.

The number of confirmed cases of measles over in Auckland just reached 778 on Saturday, and Ambulance Officer Brendan Peat has had enough of transporting people with measles to hospital.

He believes this could all be stopped if people vaccinated their kids and that's why he took to Facebook with this message for anti-vaxxer parents.

Brendan is begging people to “trust science” to stop measles from spreading to more people and vaccinate not only kids but adults as well.

The outbreak is so bad, he claims that the hospital had to turn the air-con off in the children's ward to stop more people from getting sick.

The Institute of Environmental Science and Research says that nine out of ten people who contracted measles this year had not been vaccinated (some didn't even know their vaccination status).
