Charity Boss Won't Pay Australian Singers To Perform At Fundraisers

When you are famous, helping those in need kind of comes with the deal right?

Well for some stars, when they help out charities, seems they (allegedly) want a cash payment to do so.

One charity boss, from the Children's Medical Research Institute, has come out and said that they are no longer going to pay celebs money to attend or perform at any of their fundraisers.

Now this payment can be between $10,000 to $15,000.

Some celebrities may make an appearance at a much reduced rate,  but this charity needs to help save children with the funds they make, not spend it on a "special appearance" by someone famous.

Not all celebs ask for the money though, as another charity employee has stated, they found that it's often the agent looking after the celebrity who charge exorbitant amounts.

Apparently both Delta Goodrem and Jessica Mauboy are 2 stars that have attended events for nothing.
