… they were hanging out for the Toy Story 4 trailer at the end!
Roughly 100 million people tune in for the Super Bowl and big businesses love getting a 30 second ad spot because … like I said … 100 million people are watching.
A 30 second commercial isn’t cheap though. A business will pay $US 5.25 million for the privilege of that half minute.
And movie studios are some of the best customers. The Super Bowl saw a stack of upcoming movies and series showcasing their latest trailers;
Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, Us, Hobbs & Shaw, Alita: Battle Angel, Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, and The Handmaid’s Tale S3… they all got their latest teasers into the Super Bowl mix, and no doubt countless folks are re-watching them on YouTube as we speak.
But the one everyone was hanging out was Toy Story 4 which was, of course, kept till right at the end of the game.
