The Ballarat Eyewatch Facebook page has become a very successful tool in helping Ballarat Police catch up with those on outstanding warrants.

The police cells are showing the good work being conducted by our hard working police members. Through July police made 8 significant arrests of offenders who were deemed to have committed serious harm to the community.

Warrent Wednesday is working extremly well with all wanted offenders in the last two weeks located and processed. Some offenders even handing themselves in after seeing their photo and details being shared across social media.

Don't forget to "LIKE" the Ballarat Eyewatch page https://www.facebook.com/eyewatchballarat/ and you may end up helping Police locate a person of interest.

Police are still seeking information regarding three commercial burglaries that occurred on (early hours of the 1st Aug).

Andy’s Car Wash in Albert Street, Sebastopol, Bob Jane T-Mart in Doveton Street North and Jax Tyres in Howitt Street Wendouree

40km/ph Signage on Emergency vehicles (Bright and Colourful) will start to be seen on our roads over the course of the next week. Don't forget there are heavy penalties that apply for not slowing down to 40 around emergency vehicles doing their job.
