Missing Person Squad detectives have charged a fourth person following the death of Ballarat woman Kobie Parfitt.
A 31-year-old Mount Clear woman has been charged with one count of murder.
She will appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court today (19/02/2021).
Three other people have already been charged in relation to Kobie’s death:
- a 35-year-old man, who is currently at a correctional facility, was charged last week
- a 32-year-old woman, who is currently at a correctional facility, was charged last month
- a 31-year-old Wendouree man was charged in December
Police located human remains in a mine shaft in Snake Valley on 22 December while they were searching the area as part of the investigation into Kobie’s disappearance.
Kobie, 43, was last been seen alive at a Hickman Street property on 28 April.
The investigation remains ongoing but police are not looking for any other persons in relation to this matter.
Police search for missing man Simon
Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Alfredton man Simon.
The 51-year-old was last seen in Alfredton about 2pm on Wednesday 17 February.
Police and family hold concerns for Simon’s welfare as his disappearance is extremely out of character.
Simon is approximately 188cm tall, with a solid build and is described as having balding grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue sports shorts, runners and a black hat.
Police believe he could be in NSW, particularly the Gundagai area.
