Jodi Willis Roberts is a certified paralympic legend.
The former Ballarat goalball and shot-put athlete has attended games in Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, Sydney, Athens and Beijing - walking away with medals from five of those events.
On March 6 the now-Bundaberg resident will be in Ballarat to help launch the new paralympic precinct at Lake Wendouree - an idea she has been pursuing for many years.
But in booking local accommodation for herself, her husband and a guide dog, the stellar athlete has hit a few hurdles.
She spoke to us in the hope it would educate locals about the Federal laws surrounding guide dogs.
After the interview went to air, we were flooded with offers of accommodation.
She has now found a place to stay in Ballarat during the launch.
