Coronavirus pandemic changing people’s music habbits.
New research has shown that more people are listening to new music due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A new study has found that music video streams have increased by 10% and over 40% of people are listening to new music during the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s been conducted fortnightly since March 25 using just over 1000 people ages 13 and over.
The research has shown that 84% of people are listening to the music they normally do, but 43% are listening to new music from musicians they never used to, which is a 4% increase from the study’s last iteration.
The study also showed that more than 50% of people are keen for the return of concerts with hygiene precautions being in place, such as hand sanitiser stations, lowered capacity limits, and using outdoor venues first.
There is 35% support for temperature checking at the entrance or by security.
