Imagine being locked out of your device and have no way of logging back in for quite some time.
Well one dad over in Washington DC, journalist Evan Osnos, made the mistake of giving his iPad to his son, next thing, he is locked out of it, thanks to his son.
Seems the three year old entered the wrong passcode on the iPad one too many times, and now, Evan has to wait around 47 years to get back in.
Evan went to Twitter to share his dismay.
Uh, this looks fake but, alas, it’s our iPad today after 3-year-old tried (repeatedly) to unlock. Ideas? pic.twitter.com/5i7ZBxx9rW— Evan Osnos (@eosnos) April 6, 2019
Many gave their tips on what he should do next.

Make it a gift for the kid's 50th birthday. It should unlock by then.— Paul D (@Paulmd199) April 7, 2019
I always buy a new iPad when this happens to me.— Allen Sims (@1lngargsims) April 6, 2019
