It's amazing just how much we've come to rely on Social Media, so when one (or two) sites go down, we seem to be lost!
And that's exactly what's happen today.
Facebook, Messenger, even Instagram, all disappeared from our lives.
Facebook announced that it was continuing to work to resolve the issues.
Reports say that the outage began around 3am AEST, and not only was Australia effected, so was parts of the United States, Europe and Asia.
And this is where people can't handle the outages.
Aussie emergency services have had to ask people to stop calling triple zero about it.
We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.— Facebook (@facebook) March 13, 2019
We know Facebook & Instagram are down. Please don't call triple zero to let us know. https://t.co/WBXmCsn11g— SA SES (@SA_SES) March 13, 2019
Have you tried turning it off and back on again?— Eric du Toit (@ericsdutoit) March 13, 2019
