And not gain a pound??
Christmas is just over a couple weeks away, and it can be a time when many of us overindulge.
But a new study has led to an incredible breakthrough.
The research has found that by suppressing a specific single gene, seemingly, you can eat as much fatty food as you want and not put on an ounce of weight.
In the study, mice were engineered to have the gene missing, and for up to six months, fed with a diet of up to 60 per cent fat.
They ate as much as they wanted and the food didn’t stay in their bodies as unhealthy white fat. They also showed strong signs of improved glucose tolerance.
Scientists are excited about the findings and are hoping a drug, in the trial process, will be developed to help tackle weight gain.
