Crime falls during lock-down

There's been one upside to the recent coronavirus imposed lock-down with the rate of crime falling dramatically.

Deputy Chief Commissioner Shane Patton says the state has recorded the lowest daily average for offences since June 2014.
 
It appears to be a similar situation here in Ballarat with Sergeants reporting unusually quiet shifts.
 
Official stats for April won't be available until later in the year.
