Ballarat's CBD – and our studios – have been transformed today to look like the end of the 1947 Boston Marathon.
Three blocks of Lydiard St have been decorated with posters and vintage cars and blocked off to parking until 8pm (Thursday) to recreate integral scenes in the film ‘Road to Boston’.
From 1pm, the filming will be restricted to the block between Sturt and Mair streets.
Parking in Camp Street is also off-limits until 7pm Friday.
Locals are also being warned that drones will be in action. Buses have also been re-routed,
Scenes showing the start of the marathon were shot at Ballarat Airport on Wednesday.
‘Road To Boston’ stars Im Si-wan, a former K-pop singer, who plays inspiring Korean runner Sun Yun-Bok.
And here's what the radio station building REALLY looked like around the time of WW2...
