‘The Road to Boston’ is being filmed in McCartneys Rd, Mitchell Park – plus other locations including bakery Hill, Lydiard St Nth and Victoria Park.
Actors and extras have had an early start this morning, dressing up in 1940s gear.
The film is a biopic about Suh Yun-Bok who in 1947 was the first Korean to win an international sporting event after the country’s independence from the Japanese in 1945.
The City of Ballarat Many of the shots showing the start of the Boston Marathon will be shot at the airport.
Filming took place in the Geelong suburb of Highton on Friday. Crews will work in Ballarat until Saturday. They will also shoot in central Bendigo.
