Police have arrested Nicholas Lee after nearly two weeks on the run.
The 31 year old was at the centre of the manhunt in Ballarat earlier this month that saw helicopters and the dog squad involved.
He evaded police after he disappeared down a drain, before emerging near Macarthur Street Primary School.
Lee was arrested late yesterday afternoon at an address in Delacombe, and remained in police custody overnight while he was interviewed over a number of criminal offences, including stealing and settling a car alight at Invermay Park last month.
He will appear in the Ballarat Magistrates' Court this morning.
