The speed limit along Madden Road in Cardigan is set to be slashed.
Drivers will soon have to reduce their speed to 60km/h to try and reduce the number of crashes at the intersection at Remembrance Drive.
Currently, Madden Road has a limit of 80km/h.
The intersection has seen 10 crashes in the past three years, including a smash in November last year that killed a woman and seriously injured two others.
The state government is set to make the announcement this morning, along with a range of other measures to help improve road safety.
Signs and rumble strips will also be installed in the coming weeks to alert drivers to the new changes.
