Police are investigating an alleged road rage incident in Daylesford.
A young driver was heading home along the Ballan-Daylesford Road around 10:30pm last Tuesday night after finishing work, when she was followed by a grey Ford sedan with roof racks.
Initially, she thought it was an unmarked police car and slowed down, but the offenders then hit the back of her car.
She continued to be followed by the car after speeding up, and was then forced partially off the road as the vehicle started to swerve into her.
The ordeal lasted around five minutes, and called police after she got onto the freeway and found somewhere safe to pull over.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Bacchus Marsh Police Station on 5366 4500.
