An international driver has been issued a fine after doing 34 km/h over the speed limit at the weekend.
The man was detected by police doing 94 km/h in a 60 zone around 1pm on Saturday afternoon in Napoleons.
It's prompted a reminder from police to always slow down and drive to the conditions in wet weather, especially with cooler temperatures making black ice a risk to drivers.
Despite the wet and wild weather over the weekend however, Ballarat's Highway Patrol says drivers over were well behaved despite a few minor collisions.
