A bus driver has died and at nine least passengers are injured after a collision on the Western Highway early this morning.
Police say the bus slammed into the trailers of a B-Double that had become dislodged and blocked the highway at Pimpinio, near Horsham around 2:10am.
A man in his 40s has been treated for leg injuries and has been flown to the Royal Melbourne in a stable condition, while a woman in her 60s has been treated for arm injuries and was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, also in a stable condition.
Seven others have been treated by paramedics and were taken to Wimmera Health Care in Horsham, while over 30 people have also been taken to Wimmera Health for assessment.
The road is currently blocked in both directions between Dimboola and Horsham as crews remain on scene.
