A woman has died in hospital after last Wednesday's head-on smash in Creswick.
The 86-year-old from Creswick was a passenger in a Commodore which collided with an empty bus on Victoria Street at 3.50pm on July 3.
The woman passed away on Saturday.
The 83-year old Creswick driver of the car was also hurt.
The 57-year old Alfredton bus driver escaped injury.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are looking into the case and want to hear from witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
It brings Victoria's road toll to 161, which is 60 more than at this time last year.
