Local CFA crews have had a busy start to their Friday, after being called to two separate fire incidents this morning.
Crews from Lucas were called to Builders Close in Wendouree early this morning to reports of a car fire.
This makes it the third car in the Ballarat region to be burnt in the past week alone, with another car set alight on Saturday morning at Mitchell Park, and another being found near the Ballarat water treatment plant near Mount Pleasant on Tuesday.
Crews from Wendouree were then called to a blaze at Dowling Street near Treminer Court around 4:10 this morning. When crews arrived it was found to be rubbish that had been caught alight, and had the fire under control quickly.
