One person has been taken to Ballarat Base Hospital after a crash in Ballarat Central.

Ambulance Victoria says they were called at 7:40am today to the multi-vehicle collision on Drummond Street South.

One person was assessed at the scene and taken to Ballarat Base Hospital with no serious injuries.

Meantime a car has crashed into a tree at Napoleons this morning. 

Ambulance crews were called around 2am to the accident on Ballarat-Colac Road.

A woman in her 30's was taken top Ballarat Base Hospital in a stable condition.
