A car has collided with a CDC public transport bus on the Midland Highway at Sulky, north of Ballarat, killing the male driver of the car, injuring five passengers and trapping the bus driver.

The bus has ended up on the wrong side of the road and a heavy-vehicle tow-truck has arrived.
Two air ambulances will take two patients to Melbourne. One left the scene just before 5pm.
The CFA has sent in at least 7 vehicles and SES volunteers are also at the crash.
The Midland is closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted down Sulky Rd.
