Two people have been rescued from Lake Wendouree after their boat capsized last night (March 12).
The SES says the man and woman both aged in their late 20s were fishing at the lake at around 8.30pm when the vessel capsized.
The pair climbed onto a pontoon before calling for help, with the SES arriving on the scene at around 9.00pm, bringing them back to shore at St Patricks Point at 9.20pm.
Aside from being cold and wet, they were uninjured and both were wearing lifejackets.
The boat will be retrieved from the lake today (March 13).
