New park in Miners Rest

Miners Rest Park Geoff Howard 2017

A new park has been opened in Ballarat.

The Miners Rest Community Park has been officially opened by Member for Buninyong Geoff Howard.

The park was transformed from a public open space and includes new pathways, landscaping, a rotunda, shade structures, barbecues, bike track and a basketball court.

The $405,000 project was jointly funded by the State Government, the City of Ballarat and the local community.
