The Deputy says a newly approved application or a six-story hotel is a testament to the city’s need for growth.
The 94-room structure at 107 Doveton Street South got the tick last night, despite a similar project being knocked back last year.
Amy Johnson says this application was a better fit for the area.
"The origional application had 19 objections but there were enough changes overall to the scope that it met with our local planning guidlines," she said.
