Wendouree pop-up clinic delivers jab boost

A pop-up vaccination clinic at Mt Rowan Secondary College in Wendouree is being hailed as a success.

Priority postcodes are being targeted around the state with yesterday's clinic getting around 300 jabs in arms in just one day.
College principal Seona Murnane says it was a great opportunity.
"I just think today we are a really good walk-in convenience to have people walk into our neighbourhood, and get their Pfizer."
"I know at other places you can't just rock up and get a Pfizer as a walk in," Ms Murnane said.
"Chatting to one of the parents out the front she said she wouldn't have done it so soon if this wasn't in the neighbourhood."
The clinic will reappear at Mt Rowan in three weeks time to give all those who received a shot their second dose.
