The Greater Western Victoria Rebels might play mid-week games in order to complete the NAB-League season.

The AFL has told clubs it intends to play out the home-and-away season which has four rounds remaining and a finals series.

Rebels coach David Loader says Wednesday night games might be implemented.

"They'll have a little bit of flexibility as there was a wildcard round at the start of the finals, so they'll be able to get rid of that."

"Provided we come out next week it won't really alter things to much," Mr Loader said.

Meantime, St. Kilda coach Brett Ratten admits he's concerned about former North Ballarat Rebel and Rooster Rowan Marshall who's in isolation in Perth after visiting a COVID exposure site.

The Saints are scheduled to play West Coast in Perth on Saturday afternoon.
