Two vehicles have been impounded after a weekend police sting in Ballarat.
'Operation Impaired' picked up 3 drug drivers after 35 Preliminary Breath Tests and 34 Preliminary Oral Fluid Tests were conducted on Friday and Saturday night.
Drivers who were either disqualified, suspended or unlicensed where also fined.
Ballarat Highway Patrol say the majority of drivers were adhering to the Chief Health Officers restrictions with the roads far quieter than usual.
Meantime, there's been another accident on Ballarat's eastern entrance.
This time a car hit a tree at around 6.30pm Monday night on the Western Highway at Woodman's Hill.
It comes after frightening scenes last week at Warrenheip with a truck snapping a power pole in two causing thousands of homes to be without power.
