A 21 year old man who allegedly sexually assaulted two young girls at a Ballarat playground last last month has been bailed.
The Courier reports police argued Fraser Shillington was an unacceptable risk to the community.
His defence agreed to a mental health plan and to conditions including that he not go where children were, as he was likely to be without adult supervision.
Police said the primary school aged girls were playing at a Ballarat park about 5.45pm on March 17 when the unknown man approached them.
He allegedly asked the girls if they had seen his dog before assaulting them and fleeing the scene.
He was later arrested after police released CCTV footage to the local media.
