Ballarat SES members WA bound today


Four Ballarat SES volunteers are Western Australia bound today following the devastating impact of tropical Cyclone Seroja.

The Ballarat contingent will be working to assist the recovery effort some 500 Klm north of Perth after 170Klm/h winds battered the coastline.

"We’re proud to share our resources, skills and volunteers in these times of need."

"Our thoughts are with our fellow Western Australian communities impacted by the cyclone," said the Ballarat SES unit via its Facebook page.

"Our local members are available at any time of the day or night 24/7. Please call 132 500 from anywhere in Victoria for flood, storm, landslide, tsunami and earthquake emergencies."
