Ballarat has received a welcome 10 mm of rain since 9am yesterday with wet weather rolling in from around 7pm last night.
A wet spring has the region's reservoirs brimming at almost 92% capacity which is slightly up on last year, our biggest damn Lal Lal is more than 98% full holding over 58,600ML.
Meantime, the risk of a thunderstorm asthma event across many areas of the state has now subsided.
Warnings had been issued for most areas including Ballarat and the Central District.
Possible afternoon storms are still forecast for Ballarat today however with a humid top of 26c on the way.
