Local libraries reopen today

In another step towards Covid normal Ballarat's libraries will re-open from today.

Ballarat, Sebastopol and Wendouree libraries are back in business but only for 20 people at a time plus staff.
 
You'll only be allowed to stay for an hour with contact free self check out recommended.

Under the updated restrictions, social distancing of 4 square metres per person must be maintained, visitors in the library for 15 minutes or more must be registered for contact tracing and must wear fitted face masks.

Computer use is by booking only and is restricted to 45-minute sessions.

A limited Home Library Service will continue to be provided, but face to face library programs and services remain suspended until further notice.

The Library Outreach Service also remains closed.
