September was another good month for the few commuters on the Ballarat train line.
Trains were punctual more than 96% of the time with reliability even better at 97%.
It appears lower passenger numbers during the pandemic have assisted with V/Line's performance given figures started improving back in April.
"It's great to see strong performance on the Ballarat line, and we're working to continue delivering reliable and punctual services for Victorians in the west," a statement said.
The Ararat and Maryborough lines ran at almost 99% for reliability and 96% punctuality with all other lines across the state performing strongly except Gippsland.
Melbourne's lock down continues to keep train travelers at home however with V/Line capacity sitting at just 11% for the month.
