$50,000 has been received to help extend the 'B 2 B' buy local program and run a series of tender writing workshops.

Commerce Ballarat provides critical advice, connections and resources to Ballarat businesses with the grant crucial in helping them support members’ transition to COVID Normal.

“We are proud to support Commerce Ballarat with this $50,000 grant. Commerce Ballarat has provided a pivotal leadership role supporting Ballarat businesses, large and small, throughout this pandemic by hosting webinars, sharing information and being a strong advocate to Government," said Juliana Addison the State Member for Wendouree.

“This funding will allow Commerce Ballarat to continue their great work and play a vital role in the recovery of our local economy.”

The cash is part of a $3 million state government initiative to support local chambers and trader groups.
