A stolen car being driven erratically and at speed was followed by the police air-wing all the way from Melbourne to Ballarat in the early hours of this morning.
Residents to the north of the city reported hearing and seeing a low flying chopper at around 4am.
Ballarat CIU this afternoon confirming a male and female were intercepted and arrested and have since faced the Ballarat Magistrates Court today.
