The ban on some elective surgery at the Ballarat Base Hospital remains in place, Radio Ballarat can confirm.
Only category 1 and high urgency category 2 surgeries are going ahead due to staff furloughing because of COVID.
It had been hoped the ban may have been able to be lifted tomorrow after coming into effect last Thursday at 11.59pm.
