The number of vacant rental properties in the Ballarat region are dropping.
New data from PropTrack has revealed the city’s vacancy rate is sitting at 1.62%, down from last month’s 1.81%.
A balanced market is 3%.

Across regional Victoria as a whole, it’s even worse with rental vacancies declining 0.15 percentage points, to sit at 1.21%.
“Regional areas, in contrast to metropolitan, have seen conditions
deteriorate further in July.” a PropTrack spokesperson said.
“Vacancy in the regions has now held below capital city levels for three consecutive months.”
