Police are investigating after a fatal crash at Dunach, near Talbot, yesterday afternoon.
It’s understood the 70-year-old driver was travelling along Ballarat-Maryborough Road at around 4:15pm, before she lost control and hit a tree.
The Maryborough woman, who was the only person in the vehicle, was airlifted to hospital but died overnight.

Police investigations into the crash remain ongoing, with anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
