Faults continue to plague controversial Lake Wendouree lights

Ballarat’s controversial Lake Wendouree lights are still being plagued by faults.

40 of the 225 lake lights were not working this morning, with regular users of the Lake saying it’s a constant problem.

Last November, the lights were turned on at a cost of $3.17 million, with members of the community raising concerns over the protection of lakeside trees and light pollution.

The City of Ballarat have been contacted for comment.
