Extra help is now at hand for those struggling to navigate the aged care service system.
Care Finder was launched at the beginning of the year after a need for a service like it was identified by the Aged Care Royal Commission.
Janelle Jakowenko from the Western Victoria Primary Health Network says it’s about people helping people.

“Vulnerable populations have things that they naturally struggle with when they’ve got a chronic disease, or they’ve got housing stress.”
“We need to make sure that they’ve got face to face, real human beings, people that can give them services or at least help them access those services in real time,” Ms Jakowenko said.
Wintringham will service the City of Ballarat area.
