The vehicle also had smashed windows and wooden garden trellis affixed to the front passenger window.

Investigators believe the same vehicle was set-alight in Ross Creek during the early hours of yesterday morning.

Emergency services were called to Sebastopol-Smythesdale Road between Bells Road and Bowes Road about 2.20am on Wednesday where the Territory was destroyed by fire.

Checks revealed the vehicle was stolen from Sutton Street, Delacombe in April.
