North Ballarat coaching legend Gerard Fitzgerald says he thinks former Rebel Aaron Cadman is worthy of a round one call-up for Greater Western Sydney.
Cadman was selected by GWS as No.1 pick in the AFL national draft.
Fitzgerald says if he’s fit, he should play.

“In recent years we have found it increasingly likely that the high draft picks impact games straight away.”
“They’ll not only be wanting to get games into him they’ll probably realise that he deserves a game provided his fitness and everything like that,” Mr. Fitzgerald said.
The Giants face the Crows in round one at home this Sunday under new coach Adam Kingsley.
