It comes as the Andrews Labor Government confirms all Victorians now have access to free Rapid Antigen Tests through their local council.
Eligibility requirements to secure the tests have been stripped, with every member of a household allowed two packets per visit, and four for those with a disability.
RATs remain important as the primary tool for early detection of COVID-19 and to enable timely clinical care, including access to antivirals for those eligible.
Ballarat City Council has confirmed the free tests will be handed out at Sebastopol Library until June 2023.
