A dedicated safe space for LGBTIQ+ young people is being created in Ballarat.

Through a $2.85million Andrews Government initiative, Child and Family Services Ballarat will join with Drummond Street Services and Wellways to deliver the physical space in Ballarat which will provide mental health and wellbeing services over a three year trial.

The services will be tailored specifically to young people, and the space will also give LGBTIQ+ young people in the region more opportunities to connect with peers and older role models.
