Ballarat CIU are investigating an aggravated burglary and theft of a motor vehicle between 10pm on Tuesday 11th October and 6am on Wednesday 12th October last year.
The vehicle was located in Invermay more than two weeks later on 30th October.
Police have released an image of a person they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
