Organisers of the Ballarat Market at the Showgrounds have confirmed they are still on the hunt for a new site from next year.
The market, which celebrates 44 years this year, is being forced to find a new home with a new athletics facility to be built on its current Creswick Road location.
Market Manager Jaymee Ellis says they will however be able to stay at the showgrounds until the last market of the year on December 17th.
“We are actually going to continue on until December 17th, it’s super awesome we’ve managed to get that long.”
“We are also looking for other venues, so if anyone has any clues as to where we can go for a weekly market that has about 80 to 100 stalls, please let us know because we are struggling to find a space.” Ms.” Ellis said.
