Dwelling values in Australia increased a further 0.7 per cent in June, taking growth to 8 per cent across the financial year, however it was a different tale in Ballarat.
According to CoreLogic, Ballarat prices slumped 0.5 per cent for the month, with a 12-month dip of 5.5 per cent.
The median house price in Ballarat is now just over $535,000, compared to around $50,000 more in Bendigo.

The company’s Tim Lawless said country Victoria was the only broad regional area nationally where values slipped lower than last year.
