The Victoria Police Games Federation, proudly invite all Police and Emergency Services personnel to participate in the up-coming 2025 Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games in venues across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

The 2025 Games mark our 44th year where it will host 42 sports comprising 178 unique events catering for about 4,000 participants in age groups from 18 to 80+.

This year, the Basketball Tournament will be located at Selkirk Stadium Ballarat, over 2 HUGE days! – Thursday 9th October 2025 – Men’s & Women’s Teams – Friday 10th October 2025 – Mixed Teams Competitors will compete in round robin style tournament with finals to determine medals.

Pending player registration numbers, there will be multiple divisions for each competition.

(Example, Division A/B/C) Aims for the event: – Increase female participation. – Increase country member participation. – Increase smaller emergency organisation’s participation. – By having a 2-day tournament allow participants to compete in both days if desired.

The Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games are proudly support charity partner: Blue Light Victoria, which is a not-for-profit organisation, established in 1976, that delivers a range of early intervention and prevention programs for children and young people across Victoria.

We challenge all Emergency Services personnel in the Ballarat and surrounding regions to get involved!
