Living Today, Dying Tomorrow

To bring together a community that is compassionate and recognises that the natural cycles of sickness and health, birth and death, and love and loss occur every day and it is everyone’s responsibility to care for each other in times of crisis and loss.
An event that brings the community together;
• professionals to network, learn and talk about their skills, resources and challenges
• community and volunteer groups who support, assist and care for the dying, their families and loved ones
• health care organisations who provide services to support individuals, families and carers through death and dying
• general public who may have experienced, are experiencing and are interested in learning more about the regional resources available around grief, death and dying.
Dr Kerrie Noonan is the guest speaker, CoFounder of The Groundswell Project at the luncheon as well as Dr David Brumley, Director Ballarat Hospice Care.
FREE information sessions will be held during the day on Voluntary Assisted Dying, Talking to Kids about loss, death and grief as well as planning a good end of life.
DEATH BAR from 5pm with Candi Wade providing some music but enabling networking and a wrap for the day on all that is dying, death and grief planning in and around the region.
